It was airy, beautiful and with tatami mats. The particularly good location walk from the train station was just what I needed.

Perfect location right by the train station and city center. Close to Hiroshima Castle and other sightseeing points and major attractions. I recommend visiting Boulangerie Hiro nearby for tea or coffee.

I had a fantastic stay at Roku Hostel. The small cozy atmosphere created a welcoming and friendly environment. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and provided excellent service. The free welcome drink after a long day of sightseeing was a lovely touch. The location, while not in the center of town, was conveniently close to the train station and made it easy to access the main sites in Hiroshima, as well as the ferry to Miyajima island. The rooms, although small, had plenty of storage space and the bunk beds were comfortable. The shower rooms and sink area were clean and spacious. I would highly recommend Roku Hostel to anyone visiting Hiroshima.
